Associate Attorney, Family Law
Our client, a highly respected Colorado law firm, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients through complex family law matters and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
This attorney will represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, providing strategic legal counsel, strong advocacy, and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in family law and possess the ability to manage cases independently while maintaining positive relationships with clients, court personnel, and members of the legal community.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates should possess a J.D. from an accredited law school, active admission to the Colorado Bar, and 3-5 years of experience in family law and/or civil litigation. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. They should be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and able to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Successful candidates will be client-focused attorneys who combine strong litigation skills with sound judgment, empathy, and professionalism, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional client service, effective communication, and the ability to build trusted relationships while handling complex legal matters. Our client offers a competitive base salary of $100,000-$120,000, commensurate with experience, along with bonus opportunities tied to collected revenue performance.
